The Buck Stops Here
|
|
Top futurist Alvin Toffler says in Revolutionary Wealth that schools must de-emphasize outdated
industrial-style education with its reliance on rote memorization, the skill of
fitting in with class-oriented standards, and "getting the right answers," and
instead infuse schools with creativity, individualization, independent and
original thinking skills, and entrepreneurial worldviews.
Such a change would have a significant positive impact on
freedom.
If big institutions won't make this change, at least individuals
and families should.

A Thomas Jefferson Education has not only helped my wife Laura
and I create a better educational environment for our children, but has
constantly reminded me that master teachers believe that each child who
walks into their classroom is a genius, waiting to be discovered.
