Time for Talk, Talk, Talk

During the transition phase, take the time to
meet with the student and just talk about things.
Two, three or four times a
day isn't too much in this phase.
Listen and respond while the child talks,
talks, talks.
This can take a lot of patience, but it is so worth it.
The more
the transition child talks while you listen, the better the transition phase.
