In TJEd and all types of Leadership Education, the phases
aren't so much chronological as they are developmental.
In other words, each
later phase doesn't end the earlier phase but rather continues it and builds on
it.
Core Phase is the foundation of all the phases, and it must always be fully
present in every other phase. Without it, any later phase is lacking.
Core
Phase is thus part of all the other phases, which makes it the most important
phase of all.
In the same way, Love of Learning must always be a central
part of Scholar, Depth and later phases, just as Scholar Phase must always be a
continual part of Depth, Mission and the other phases.
It all starts with Core,
and it keeps building.

TJEd gives clarity and purpose to the decision to homeschool,

this exciting book."

A Thomas Jefferson Education has not only helped my wife Laura
and I create a better educational environment for our children, but has
constantly reminded me that master teachers believe that each child who
walks into their classroom is a genius, waiting to be discovered.
