A free download, not to be missed...

Do you have a Student in Scholar Phase?

Or one who soon will be?

Or one that one day hopefully will be?

Begin with a picture of where you're going--a road map.

When you pay a lot of time, money and effort to plan a sight-seeing trip, you're also likely to seek lots of advice on what features are not to be missed, how to get there, and what to do while you're there.

Scholar Phase is just such a journey, your goals and investment are infinitely more important than a sight-seeing journey -- and there is a "road map" available!

Even if you've read it a dozen times, go back and re-read the chapter on Scholar Phase from Leadership Education.

It is available as a free download here.

This free sample chapter from our popular book, Leadership Education: The Phases of Learning outlines the four levels of scholar phase, and what to do in each level.

If you have a student in scholar phase, you can't read this chapter enough. Study it over and over. And invite your student to do the same. It will make all the difference. The answers are there--put them to work for you!

And to help your youth own their education and really prepare for a powerful personal mission and contribution, gift them:

You can now sign up for ALEKS math instruction through TJEd.org, and one of our helpful assistants will facilitate your membership. This excellent instructional program/supplement (depending on how you want to use it) can cost $240 a year per student for homeschooling families.

Through TJEd.org you can save upwards of 2/3 on the cost of a yearly subscription; and with multiple students from the same family, you save even more.

With included assessments and instruction from K-12+, ALEKS will help you:

  • facilitate independent learning
  • build math competency
  • aid in college prep
  • document compliance with district, state and provincial requirements
My own daughters have enjoyed being able to go at their own pace, and go from level to level-all for the same price of the yearly subscription.

Classics

No one can deny the value of a great idea well- commu-nicated. The inspiration, innovation and ingenuity inherent in great ideas elevate those who study them.

Great ideas are most effectively learned directly from the greatest thinkers, historians, artists, philosophers and prophets, and their original works.

Great works inspire greatness, just as mediocre or poor works usually inspire mediocre and poor achievement. The great accomplishments of humanity are the key to quality education.

A "classic" is a work (be it literature, music, art, etc.) that's worth returning to over and over because you get more from it each time.
